The Path from Idea to Auction Start
Prepare Your Lots
Make sure you have created items for the auction. You can use both regular auction lots and 'Buy It Now' items. Important: When a 'Buy It Now' item is added to an auction, it will automatically become an auction lot with a starting price equal to its original price.
How to create an item →Design Your Auction
Create an attractive 'showcase'. Fill in the title, add a vivid description to tell the story of your collection. Upload a main image (cover) and specify tags (keywords) for easy searching.
Choose the Bidding Rules
Select 'First-Price Auction' (winner pays their bid) or 'Second-Price Auction' (winner pays the second-highest bid). Then choose the closing method: 'Automatic' by timer or 'Manual with Broadcast' for a live finale.
Set the Schedule and Timings
Specify the date the auction will appear in the listing and the start date for closing the first lots. Then configure the 'Delta' (the pause between lot closings) and activate 'Anti-Sniping' to automatically extend bidding.
Add Lots to the Auction and Create the Auction
Now that the auction is fully configured, select the previously prepared items from your list and add them to the auction. This is a mandatory step before publishing. That's it! You can now publish!
DONE!
Your auction with your items has now appeared in the listing. You can go to the auction page and see your listed lots.
